Alternate FFT Submission Process

An FTP site has been set up to allow uploading of FIA deliverables in those cases where the FIA submission form fails. The recommended process is as follows:

  1. gather the project files which you wish to submit
  2. place these files in a folder (directory) on your computer OR add these files to a .ZIP file
Please use the FFT project number as the name of the folder or .ZIP file
For example, if your FFT project is #4302001, call the folder 4302001 or name the .ZIP file 4302001.zip
  3. click here to open the FTP link in your web browser
  4. drag-and-drop the folder (or .ZIP file) onto the browser window to transfer the files
  5. once the upload is complete, send an email to For.Prodres@gov.bc.ca.
Please add the project number to the subject line. Include the FFT program and Project title in the body of the message, and add contact information. All deliverables will be posted unless specific instructions are included to the contrary.

NOTE: Security settings prevent viewing, overwriting and deleting files within the FTP folder.

Hardcopy of reports and maps, plus CDs containing exceedingly large files can also be sent to the Ministry of Forests and Range Library:
