Industrial Forestry Service Ltd. (IFS) a Forests for Tomorrow Recipient Agreement Holder for the Mackenzie TSA invites interested contractors to bid on 1 contract for 2010 summer planting (approx 490,000 seedlings) in the vicinity of Nation Arm – Burden Lake near Mackenzie, BC. All interested contractors must pre-register for the mandatory information session to be held at the IFS Prince George office at 10:00 am March 5, 2010. To pre-register for the mandatory information session, please email Mike Trepanier as per the contact information listed below with the Company name, address and BC Forest Safety Council certification number. Tender packages, maps and a sample contract will be available at the information session. Contractors submitting a tender must meet the following pre-qualification criteria • Must be Safe Certified with the BC Safety Council • WCB active and in good standing • Planted at least 500,000 summer seedlings over the last 3 years • Contractors must not have had a terminated or cancelled contract within the last 5 years • Contractors must have successfully completed similar sized contracts. Tenders are due no later than 4:00 pm March 15th 2010 at the Industrial Forestry Service Ltd. Prince George office.
